To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the iconic Australian drama series Neighbours, an honour role of the show’s famous stars have gathered to reminisce about their favourite memories in a Ten special event – Neighbours 30th: The Stars Reunite.
The special features some of the biggest names in music, television and film, all of whom launched their careers on the nightly soap.
The roll call includes Kylie Minogue (Charlene Robinson), Jason Donovan (Scott Robinson), Guy Pearce (Mike Young), Margot Robbie (Donna Freedman), Delta Goodrem (Nina Tucker), Ashleigh Brewer (Kate Ramsay), Natalie Bassingthwaighte (Izzy Hoyland), Daniel MacPherson (Joel Samuels) and Craig McLachlan (Henry Ramsay).
Hosted by Stefan Dennis and Tim Phillipps, Neighbours 30th: The Stars Reunite will feature interviews with cast, past and present, as they reflect on their time on the show, share personal anecdotes and consider what Neighbours has meant to their careers.
Current Neighbours cast including Jackie Woodburne (Susan Kennedy), Alan Fletcher (Karl Kennedy), Ryan Moloney (Jarrod “Toadfish” Rebecchi), Tom Oliver (Lou Carpenter), Scott McGregor (Mark Brennan) and Olympia Valance (Paige Smith) reveal some of their most embarrassing moments on set and fondly look back on the show’s most iconic and memorable storylines.
The actors responsible for creating some of Neighbours’ most loved characters – including Ian Smith (Harold Bishop), Anne Charleston (Madge Bishop), Terence Donovan (Doug Willis), Annie Jones (Jane Harris), Lucinda Cowden (Melanie Pearson), Paul Keane (Des Clarke) and Mark Little (Joe Mangel) – relive moments that have left an indelible mark on Neighbours’ 30-year history.
The top five favourite Neighbours moments, as voted by the show’s fans, will also be revealed.
