National Film and Sound Archive present Bill

What really happened during Shakespeare’s 'Lost Years’?

Find out at Arc cinema! From January 7-13, the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia (NFSA) presents an exclusive one-week school holiday season of the UK family adventure-comedy film Bill – the latest from the team behind the hit TV series Horrible Histories.

Bill follows the hopeless lute player Bill Shakespeare as he leaves his home to follow his dream as a play writer in London. It’s a tale of murderous kings, spies, lost loves, and a plot to blow up Queen Elizabeth I.
