Adam Smith will step up to be the acting chief executive officer of the South Australian Film Corporation (SAFC) following the recent departure of Annabelle Sheehan.
Smith was most recently the agency’s head of production development and studios. He has previously worked for Screenwest as director production investment and Warner Bros as senior vice president, business affairs.
Sheehan departed with SAFC last Friday, heading across the ditch to be the new chief executive of the New Zealand Film Commission.
SAFC has said the recruitment process for the CEO position is currently underway.
