Brett Smith has joined ARRI Australia as general manager.
With over 30 years experience in film and TV, Smith will be responsible for the sales, service and support of all ARRI product lines including ALEXA, AMIRA and ALEXA Mini cameras, Alura lenses and the full range of lighting across Australia and New Zealand.

Smith has had an extensive career in film and television. In his most recent role with Tiffen, he was Asia-Pacific manager, responsible for significantly growing sales of the company’s film and TV acquisition products across the region.
Smith is also a former board member of SMPTE Australia and has had successful roles at Nine TV Network, Miller and Codan Broadcast.
Smith said he would continue to grow ARRI’s relationships with local customers and organisations across Australia and New Zealand, provide a mentoring role to young innovators and create new opportunities for the new products and product evolutions.
