Dendy Direct has signed a new deal with BBC Worldwide ANZ. Through the partnership, a select range of the BBC’s catalogue will be available on the on-demand service from today.
This will include War and Peace, Thirteen, and Undercover, as well as The Office, Fawlty Towers, Pride & Prejudice, The Honourable Woman and Sherlock.
“We’re incredibly excited to be offering such a diverse slate of new television to our audience,” said Dendy CEO Greg Hughes.
“Dendy feels a great synergy with the BBC as a joint offering of two exceptional and very beloved brands amongst their followers.”
BBC Worldwide ANZ’s Digital Account Manager Kristen Fraser said the BBC was delighted that Dendy Direct would include some of the best new and classic British television on its service.
To celebrate the launch, the first episodes from a select range of series including War and Peace, Luther, The Musketeers and Banished will be available free to Dendy Director customers for a limited time.
