LAST CHANCE FOR 2016 SOUTH AUSTRALIAN SCREEN AWARDS SUBMISSIONS

There are only a handful of days before submissions close for the 2016 South Australian Screen Awards on March 7, 2016.

The SASAs are our state's night of nights for the people whose craft is dedicated to creating amazing cinema, it's our local Oscars.

Nominations have been extended for a week to 7 March 2016 and are open across a range of crafts and genres.  Local screen practitioners are able to take this opportunity to showcase their work in drama, comedy, documentary, animation, music, video, non-narrative and digital media.

The SASAs exhibit, celebrate and promote the best screen works of the South Australian film industry. It's where we recognise the creative energy of our state's film creatives and acknowledge the hard work and passion that contributes to the local industry.

Established in 1999, the SASAs are run by the Media Resource Centre (MRC), a not-for profit organization that has over 42 years of experience in providing support and development for South Australia’s emerging young screen practitioners.

The SASAs continues to grow in size and scope along with the quality of short form screen production in this state.

The 2016 SASA Gala Awards will be held at the Mercury Cinema in Adela
