Q&A screenings of Is This the Real World across Sydney this week

Is This The Real World, the feature debut of writer-director Martin McKenna, will be screened across Sydney this week, followed by Q&A sessions.

The film follows the story of Mark Blazey, a high school kid growing up in a coastal town and trapped in a relentless battle of wills with a controlling teacher, while his family is breaking apart and first love beating at his door.

It stars up-and-comer Sean Keenan (Puberty Blues, Glitch, Strangerland) alongside Matt Colwell (hip hop artist 360) in his feature film debut.

Melbourne-based McKenna helmed the project after working TV drama for nearly two decades on series such Packed to the Rafters, Neighbours, Stingers, All Saints and Corelli.
