Warwick will introduce his film which will be followed by an ‘In Conversation’ session following the screening @ 6.30pm

Hosted by one time ABC Radio presenter  Geraldine Mellet, this special evening will include a Q&A with Warwick Thornton’s whose last two short films won awards at the Berlin Film Festival, most recently the 2008 Berlinale prize-winning Nana. His previous short drama Green Bush, won Best Short in the Panorama section at Berlin in 2005. Warwick will introduce his film which will be followed by an ‘In Conversation’ session following the screening.

Award-winning director-cinematographer Warwick Thornton tells the love story of two Aboriginal teenagers in a remote community in the Central Australian Desert.
 
Greeted with a standing ovation at its world premiere at the Adelaide Film Festival, SAMSON & DELILAH features stand out performances by newcomers Rowan McNamara and Marissa Gibson.
