Screen Queensland is currently advertising for a brand new part-time position of indigenous program coordinator.
This is a part-time role, being two days per week for the period February – June 2015.
The indigenous program coordinator role will be central to Screen Queensland's work to create an effective Indigenous Program and will (particularly during the initial contractual period) involve consultation with the Indigenous screen industry and community to inform the creation of a strategy and operational program.
The role ensures the effective operation of the indigenous program and primarily the process of applications, assessment and decisions.
The role will be key in ensuring that the needs of the Indigenous screen industry and community are met by all programs run through Screen Queensland's Development and Production Programs and the screen agency as a whole.
This coordinator position will work closely with Screen Queensland's Development area to deliver priorities set by the Head of Development and Production.
