The Australian International Documentary Conference (AIDC) has announced the successful projects for the 2008 Australian DOCUmart. This year DOCUmart presents 16 projects from Australia, New Zealand
and Germany which will be pitched to a panel of over 50 documentary
buyers from 14 different countries.
A large variety of topics are represented, from biographies to international politics, from Rock to Afghan music, from the history of condoms to the future of birthing. Commissioning editors are also advised to start thinking about their programme in 2010, when the Soccer Worldcup will be held in South Africa (South Africa 2010, Faith Love and Hope).
