Matthew Rankin's cross-cultural comedy 'Universal Language' has taken out this year's $140,000 Bright Horizons prize at the Melbourne International Film Festival.
'Neptune Frost', directed by Anisia Uzeyman and Saul Williams, is the winner of the Melbourne International Film Festival's inaugural Bright Horizons Award, while Jub Clerc won the Blackmagic Design Australian Innovation Award.
The full line-up for this year's Melbourne International Film Festival was revealed Tuesday evening, with a significant number of Australian additions, such as the world premieres of Jason Raftopoulos' sophomore feature 'Voices in Deep' and Matthew Adekponya's behind-the-scenes look at how the Boomers took bronze in Tokyo, 'Rose Gold'.
