Screen Australia has committed almost $700,000 in development support across 23 feature projects
As flagged by CEO Graeme Mason last week, Screen Australia has more than doubled the funding available through its Story Development: Premium fund.
Screen Australia will provide development funding for 13 feature films, two animated shorts and two games, as well as the completion of two short films
Following on from their collaboration on feature film 'The Second', Screen Queensland and Stan have partnered on a new fund that will support both up-and-coming and established creatives to develop high-end drama series for the streaming service.
These ideas build on last year's 79 ideas and thoughts to improve the screen development process feature article 79 Ideas list, and were inspired by the AACTA Festival’s deep dive into improving the screen development process.
Over $450,000 in funding will be spread across 19 feature films following an announcement from Screen Australia today.
