Screen Australia will commit $6 million over two years to support small to medium independent game studios with projects with budgets below $500,000.
Screen Queensland will support seven games projects from the state with more than $1 million in development funding while also helping nine studios attend this week's Gamescom digital games conference in Cologne, Germany.
Screen Australia has revealed the first round games to be supported via the Games: Expansion Pack fund, with 31 titles to share $4 million.
