Neon has taken the North American rights to Kitty Green's 'The Royal Hotel', due to star Julia Garner, Jessica Henwick and Hugo Weaving.
Thomas M Wright's crime thriller 'The Stranger' was added to the Australian contingent for next month's Cannes Film Festival on Thursday, alongside Baz Luhrmann's 'Elvis' and George Miller's 'Three Thousand Years of Longing'.
The film will feature work from directors including Cate Blanchett, Mia Wasikowska and David Wenham

Following on from its respective world and Australia premieres at the Cannes Film Festival and the Melbourne International Film Festival, writer-director Thomas M. Wright's 'The Stranger' will premiere on Netflix October 19 following a two week theatrical release.
