Japanese films have taken top honours at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards on the Gold Coast, with Wim Wenders' 'Perfect Days' and Ryusuke Hamaguchi's 'Evil Does Not Exist' awarded Best Film and the Jury Grand Prize respectively.
Jub Clerc's debut feature 'Sweet As' has become the first Australian winner of the Toronto International Film Festival's Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema (NETPAC) Award for best Asian feature film.
