Press release from I-Manifest

On Wednesday 6th & Thursday 7th June, Core3 Entertainment and Spectrum Films joined forces to redefine opportunity for the next generation of Australian creatives. Supporting The Creative Chronicles, a workshop initiative by not-for-profit I-Manifest, the doors to the film mecca, Spectrum and
Core3 Entertainment, opened to 7 eager creative minds to experience a day in the life of the elusive world of film and television.

Having powered her way to the top with sheer determination, founder of Core3 Entertainment, Philippa Whitfield Pomeranz knows all too well how young talent struggles to find it’s first step into the creative industries.

“Its about finding your voice and telling your story. Each one of these amazing kids has a story to tell. I love that I am in the position to open doors to kids that might not have ever had the accessibility. It's the small things that we do that can make all the difference”. Philippa

The students spent the 2 days discovering the wonderful world of film. Starting with a full tour of Spectrum and talks from various brains behind the business the students then went with Philippa, Core3 Entertainment to develop, shoot and edit a 3 minute trailer- to be posted online in a few weeks.
The finale of the workshop was a VIP tour around Fox Studios.

The Creative Chronicles series aims to help up to 50 underprivileged teenagers every month be inspired and motivated to pursue a creative path. Combined with an extensive mentor program which cements relationships born between creative youth and professionals, I-Manifest aims to support it’s students from their first workshop experience until they achieve their educational and vocational aspirations.

I-Manifest is a not-for-profit organization that empowers underprivileged and rural teenagers by exposing them to a realistic future in the creative industries.
