Screen Queensland offer five producer bursaries

Screen Queensland will offer five screen industry producers a bursary to attend the Creative Forum and Masterclass.

The bursaries have been ofered in partnership with QUT Creative Enterprise Australia (CEA).

Creative is Australia’s largest conference for creative entrepreneurs.

As well as registration for the Forum and Masterclass, the Screen Queensland / CEA Screen Industry Bursary recipients will also form part of the upcoming Screen Week and receive a workspace in The Coterie for the week, attendance to Screen Week events and a one-on-one mentoring session with QUT Creative Enterprise Australia CEO, Anna Rooke.

The bursary is open to Queensland Screen industry professionals, in particular producers, who have an active screen business they wish to grow through innovation and entrepreneurship. 

The conference, which take place on Septer 17-18, features a series of presentations that offer insights into the mechanics of creativity, investment and enterprise. 

As part of the conference, the Creative³ Masterclass is presented by a select group of business leaders and entrepreneurs and offers an opportunity to stimulate new approaches and thinking in how (within the screen industry) producers and production companies can apply innovation to their businesses.

Formed in 2008, CEA helps start, grow, scale and connect creative companies. Providing essential business skills and pragmatic training focused on company growth and investment.

 The five recipients of the Screen Industry Bursary will receive:

Registration for the Creative³ Forum and Masterclass

Attendance to CEA Screen Week

Workspace in The Coterie for Screen Week

Attendance at a CEA / Screen Queensland Screen Week event to be attended by CEA Screen Clients and Investors.

Mentoring session with Anna Rooke (CEO of CEA)
