Stan today announced a licensing agreement with ABC Commercial that will bring an extensive range of Australian-made productions to the launch lineup of the new subscription video-on-demand service.
The multi-year agreement with the commercial arm of the ABC brings the best of ABC comedy, drama, factual and children’s programming to Stan, offering something for everyone within Stan’s low monthly price.

The lineup includes such quality Australian dramas as AACTA and Logie Award-winning Rake starring Richard Roxburgh, AACTA and Logie Award-winning Redfern Now, the crime series Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, and favourites Jack Irish and Janet King.
Also included in the programming suite are key factual programs such as Whitlam: The Power and the Passion, Wide Open Road and Gallipoli From Above.
Australian families will welcome the addition of hundreds of hours of children’s programming, including The Wiggles, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Guess How Much I Love You and Justine Clarke. Other children’s favourites include Octonauts, Angelina Ballerina, Bob the Builder, Thomas and Friends, Fireman Sam, Sesame Street and Mister Maker.
