Japanese films have taken top honours at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards on the Gold Coast, with Wim Wenders' 'Perfect Days' and Ryusuke Hamaguchi's 'Evil Does Not Exist' awarded Best Film and the Jury Grand Prize respectively.
Australian filmmaker and journalist Daizy Gedeon will be recognised at a Better World Fund (BWF) gala event in Cannes on Monday, where she will be presented with the Movie That Matters Award.
