Media Release

Multi-award winning design and director collective, The DMC Initiative (DMCI), is partnering with US based creative management company Be Creative Management (Be). This partnership provides opportunities for DMCI to expand its clientele within North America to include a range of television networks, media companies, MSO’s, gaming industry, advertising agencies, and direct to brand clients. The partnership also signifies the growing recognition of the Australian creative industry within a global context and the need for more global partnerships.

It was DMCI’s work for major US broadcasters CBS, Nickelodeon, Disney and Discovery Channels that initially captured the attention of Be.

DMCI Creative Director, Nathan Drabsch notes that, “Australia is increasingly being recognised as a hub of design and creativity. DMCI has a very flexible approach to creative work, drawing upon a wide variety of skill sets, so that ultimately, we can respond to a variety of briefs across a mix of media. It’s exciting times for us and the Australian creative industry as a whole.”

This partnership comes off the back of what has been a successful 2012 for DCMI, having picked up over 15 International Awards.

According to DCMI these awards have resulted from dabbling in ‘in a variety of visual witch-craftery & audio-visual alchemy’ which includes – concept, brand strategy & design , live action direction , motion design, animation – to name but a few of their services.
