An Australian filmmaker has announced the opportunity to be involved in his next project with the launch of a new crowdfunding campaign to support the production of the film, ZEBRAS. If successful, this project will be the largest Australian project ever funded by a Kickstarter campaign.
Renowned Australian producer, Jim McElroy has produced films such as PICNIC AT HANGING ROCK and THE YEAR OF LIVING DANGEROUSLY and is now offering the chance to be involved in a new film starring Luke Hemsworth and directed by Bruce Beresford (MAO’S LAST DANCER, DRIVING MISS DAISY, BLACK ROBE, DOUBLE JEOPARDY) while helping to produce the film.
By contributing as little as ten dollars to the making of ZEBRAS, supporters will receive their very own copy of the movie script and monthly updates, or for $40, a digital copy of both the script and the finished film plus the crew T shirt and monthly updates. For those with deeper pockets, a contribution of $2,000 will allow the supporter to have their name included in the film, or for $8,000, supporters can bag themselves a speaking role in the film. Other rewards for supporters include tickets to premieres of the film in Sydney, Cape Town or London, signed posters and merchandise, on set experiences, and personal messages to supporters from the cast of the film.

In South Africa in 1983 Paul Krige a champion footballer and record executive, defies the establishment when he coaches a multi racial team…to victory.
