Endemol Shine Australia makes executive promotions

Endemol Shine Australia has promoted executive producers Tara McWilliams, David McDonald and Sara Richardson into new senior positions, each reporting into CEO Peter Newman.

McWilliams, who oversees Married at First Sight, will become director of content, joining Amelia Fisk and Marty Benson, expanding her remit across a portfolio of shows within the unscripted slate.

McDonald has been elevated to head of comedy, charged with steering the company into new territory in the form of scripted and sketch comedy, as well as other light entertainment projects. He will continue to oversee LEGO Masters and Gogglebox.

Finally, Sara Richardson, has been promoted to head of scripted and will continue to develop its growing slate.
