Playing For Charlie is a coming of age drama that explores the delicate relationship between a young mother and her teenage son after the recent death of his father. The film captures a moment in sixteen-year-old Tony Hobb's life when caught between duty, despair and hope for the future, he is forced to make a life-changing decision.
The Victorian film has been shown at several festivals around the world including the Rome International Film Festival, the Melbourne International Film Festival and the Sydney Film Festival.
It opens in cinemas on May 6.
