Stan has announced a slew of new local commissions as it ramps up ambitious plans to have around a third of its first-run slate come from original production.
In the second season of Stan's Bump, premiering Boxing Day, Oly (Nathalie Morris) and Santi (Carlos Sanson Jr) continue to get to know each other, and discover just how much families can mess you up.
'Bump' spin-off 'Year Of' is set at the same Sydney harbour-front school of the Stan Original series and centres on a disparate group of inner-city teens – and the adults around them – as they navigate the senior years of high school.
Roadshow Rough Diamond's 10-part drama 'Bump' will premiere New Year's Day on Stan.
"I feel really proud of representing the Latin community... I can recognise the effort of the writers, casting directors and producers that are pushing for true diversity in Australian TV. In the past I didn't really think that I would have a healthy career in Australia. That perception changed these past two years."
The cast and crew of 'Bump' are heading back on the streets of Sydney, with comedian Steph Tisdell and paralympian Dylan Alcott added to the mix for the fourth season of the Stan Original.
Stan used an luncheon at the Sydney Opera House today to unveil a 25-strong originals slate for 2024, including several new commissions - four drama series, four documentaries and a feature film.
