Australian content made up around 0.5 per cent of all Netflix global views in the first half of this year despite the international success of Boy Swallows Universe, Love on the Spectrum, and Heartbreak High.
Australia company Northern Pictures has won two Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards for its Love on the Spectrum U.S series.
'Love on the Spectrum US', produced by Northern Pictures, has taken home all three of the Emmy Awards for which it was nominated, including Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program.
HBO's 'Succession 'leads this year's Emmy Awards race with 25 nominations, including for Australian star Sarah Snook. Northern Pictures 'Love on the Spectrum US' has scored three noms, with Toni Collette and Murray Bartlett also recognised.
Following on from the success of Northern Pictures’ Love on the Spectrum on the ABC and Netflix around the world, Netflix will launch American version Love on the Spectrum U.S May 18.
